I'm really excited. I am going to be on the radio on Monday! Our local AM Radio station called me this week and told me that they selected our church as their "Church of the week". How cool is that?
You can listen to it on 820AM if you're in the Seattle area on Monday at 230pm Pacific Time. For those of you who are not in the area, you can go to www.kgnw.com click this link and it should take you directly to their site to listen live from any internet connection in the world. It should be sweet.
I'm not sure how long the spot is going to be, they said that they only play the entire 30 mins if its interesting enough, so I guess we'll see on Monday if I passed the test.
I really hope you'll listen! This is a great opportunity for our church to get some great exposure. Please pray with us that it will be fruitful.

Oh yea, I guess you didn't sign up for the blog for it to be a self-promoter for me, so here's the nugget for you- sometimes when you least expect it, someone will come along and bless you with something that you weren't even expecting, like a chance to be interviewed on the radio!

Congrats! This is awesome! I wish you all the luck but I know you'll do fine. And to think, just the other day I was thinking "Pastor Matt has the perfect face for radio!" and "bam" you're on the radio. What are the odds?

ReplyDeleteYou should bring prizes with you to give away and give one away every 5 minutes. Throughout the interview keep mentioning the prizes. That'll get you the full 30 minutes. =)
